《英语口语1》教学大纲

推荐教材:杨立民主编,《现代大学英语口语1》,外语教学与研究出版社,2004年。

参考书目:吴祯福主编,《英语初级口语》,外语教学与研究出版社,2002年。

课程的教学目的与任务

本课程的教学目的和任务是使学生能开口讲英语,树立说英语的信心,消除其紧张恐惧感,养成正确的语言习惯。通过课堂内外的英语口语操练,使学生能就所听到的语段进行问答和复述,能就日常生活话题进行交谈,做到清楚表达思想,无重大语法错误,语言基本得体。

课程的基本要求

1、熟练掌握日常交流中各种话题的句型和词汇;

2、养成良好的口头交际的习惯,增强英语表达的信心;

3、训练学生思维清楚、表达具有一定的逻辑性。

Unit 1 First Day in College 建议学时:3

[教学目的与要求] 学会自我介绍和问候的基本句型,能够熟练运用它们进行英语交流。

[教学重点与难点] 克服讲英语的心理障碍。

[授 课 方 法] 以模拟语境课堂会话为主,以课堂讲授为辅。

[授 课 内 容]

1. Structures on introduction and greetings

1)Structures on introduction such as “My hobbies are...”

2) Structures on greetings such as “Glad to meet you.”

2. Text One and Text Two

1) Read the texts in pairs.

2) Explain a couple of sentence patterns like “It is a out-of-the-way place.”

3) Role play and introduce yourself to your classmates.

3. Text Three and Text Four

1) Read the texts in pairs.

2) Explain a few most used phrases.

3) Make a conversation with a student of the opposite sex.

4) Introduce oneself to a stranger in English with the given context.

Unit 2 Hometown 建议学时:3

[教学目的与要求] 学会介绍家乡的基本语汇,能够熟练运用它们进行英语交流。

[教学重点与难点] 描述地理特征和特产的语汇

[授 课 方 法] 以模拟语境课堂会话为主,以课堂讲授为辅。
